* Maintain appropriate technical documentation, operating procedures, infrastructure standards, and system records.

* Monitor infrastructure health and establish operational processes designed to maximize system uptime and availability.

* Assist with infrastructure budgeting, expense management, purchasing, and technology lifecycle planning.

* Provide leadership with regular updates regarding infrastructure health, active projects, risks, planned improvements, and technology initiatives.

* Ensure infrastructure practices align with organizational security, privacy, compliance, and business continuity requirements.

* Participate in after-hours escalation or critical incident response when required by the operating environment.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

* 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or infrastructure operations.

* Experience leading infrastructure projects, technical teams, vendors, or third-party engineering resources.

* Demonstrated experience maintaining highly available, business-critical infrastructure.

* Strong understanding of enterprise networking, servers, storage, virtualization, backup/recovery, monitoring, and related infrastructure technologies.

* Understanding of information security, data protection, and privacy requirements.

* Strong vendor management and technical project management skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, vendors, and business leadership.

* Ability to prioritize and make sound technical decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience supporting 24x7 operational environments where technology availability directly impacts business operations.

* Previous experience supporting IT/OT environments.

* Technology experience within transportation, logistics, manufacturing, maritime, industrial, distribution, or other operationally intensive environments.
