Position Overview:
This positions serves LEONI’s North American Development Department with design expertise to create and maintain E/E schematics in LEONI and customer’s systems. The candidate should possess the capabilities to independently process E/E systems designs and to represent LEONI in front of our customers. This position reports directly to our Team Leader Harness Design in Troy, Michigan.
Job Profile Description
* Import electrical device and subsystem information and process into schematics (hrn/cmp/csv files) * Determine inline and splice positioning * Create inline listings and pin-out * Perform resistance checks to meet system requirements * Create system level DVP&R * Assist in wire harness troubleshooting for the full vehicle * Assist in the performance of relevant engineering tools e.g. DFMEA, Design Reviews * Support all customer meetings and request
Qualifications
* Engineering degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Automotive preferred) * 3 years’ experience in in executing full vehicle systems engineering projects (Stellantis preferred) * Experience in Capital Logic/Integrator or equivalent schematics design tool * Proficient English speaking and writing skills * Good team work and interpersonal skills * Problem solving skills * Willingness to travel
