About the role

Are you a proactive, detail-oriented leader with strong organizational and communication skills? Do you have a history of turning business needs into well-defined, tested, and supported systems?  If this describes you, then you may be the person we’re seeking as our next Systems Delivery Manager!

What you'll be doing...

As the System Delivery Manager in our Quality Control Group, you will be responsible for overseeing the business analysts, testers and the application support staff across the full delivery lifecycle: requirements, testing, launch readiness, and post-launch support. You will also partner with an external vendor that provides software development services to fulfill development initiatives.

This is both an operational leadership role, and a change leadership role. You will take ownership of day-to-day delivery and drive the strengths of each function. You will also build and lead multi-year plans that keep the best of current practices while evolving how we deliver systems to support the business.

As a System Delivery Manager, you will:

* Manage, coach, and develop business analysts, testers and application support staff, ensuring clear priorities, effective collaboration, and reliable coverage of work. * Ensure business needs are elicited, clarified, and translated into refined requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. * Oversee test strategy, test case design, test data, defect tracking and quality checkpoints so solutions are validated before release. * Partner with business leaders to confirm plan details and consider readiness for deployment. * Manage incidents, problems, and change processes for production systems, including post-launch monitoring, timely issue resolution, root-cause analysis, and clear communication with affected teams. * Allocate team capacity across projects, enhancements, testing cycles, and support needs and communicate priorities, risks, and resource needs. * Serve as a bridge between development, business operations, and third-party partners, including consultants and core vendors, so joint work is coordinated, resourced and aligned with business priorities. * Develop a plan for modernizing analysis, testing and support practices, with clear milestones, resource needs, and measure of success. * Define automation opportunities, recommend tools and frameworks, and integrate opportunities into key workflows for each team role. * Establish meaningful metrics and use them to drive continuous improvement.

This position has a hybrid work schedule with 3 days per week (Tue, Wed & Thu) on-site in our Seattle office.

Who you are...

* Educated. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. * Experienced. 8-10 years in business analysis, quality assurance, application support, or systems delivery, including 5+ years leading teams of 10+ people across multiple disciplines. * Certified. Certification in CBAP or CCBA (IIBA), ISTQB, or ITIL Foundation preferred * Transformer. Experience leading the transformation from manual to automated processes, deep understanding of business analysis, and strong command of test strategy. * Leadership. Proven record of assessing team performance and organizational needs, developing actionable improvement plans, and leading teams through significant change. * Relationship Builder. Foster relationships with key stakeholders & manage expectations * Communicator. Clear & effective communicator with strong interpersonal relationship skills * Technically Savvy. Knowledge of SDLC, with practical experience in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall & hybrid environments
