In this role, you will use KiCad to complete real-world PCB design and electronic circuit tasks and explain your workflows step by step. Your expertise will help improve how AI systems understand electronics engineering.
Scope of Work:
* Create and modify PCB designs and circuit schematics using KiCad.
* Work with component placement, PCB routing, and multi-layer boards.
* Perform design rule checks (DRC) and troubleshoot PCB design issues.
* Generate Gerber files and other manufacturing outputs.
* Complete advanced KiCad tasks and explain your workflows step by step.
* Create clear instructions and detailed prompts for PCB design workflows.
Requirements:
* Strong professional hands-on experience using KiCad.
* Experience with PCB layout, schematic capture, and electronic circuit design.
* Good understanding of component placement, routing, and PCB design rules.
* Ability to create and review complex PCB designs.
* Access to KiCad and ability to record your screen while completing tasks.
* English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
* Ability to explain technical workflows clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
* A relevant master's degree or PhD in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
* Previous Human Data experience, such as data annotation, RLHF, or AI model evaluation.
* Experience with multi-layer PCB design and manufacturing processes.
* Professional experience in electronics or hardware engineering.
