About the role

About Us

At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. We began as widely adopted open-source tools and have grown to also offer a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale.

With $125M raised at Series B from IVP, Sequoia, Benchmark, CapitalG, and Sapphire Ventures, we’re at a stage where we’re continuing to develop new products, growth is accelerating, and all team members have meaningful impact on what we build and how we work together. LangChain is a place where your contributions can shape how this technology shows up in the real world.

Today, our platform includes LangSmith (Observability, Evaluation, Deployment, Fleet, and Sandboxes), our open source frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, and Deep Agents), and the newly launched LangSmith Engine for autonomous agent improvement. We have 100M+ monthly open source downloads, 6,000+ active LangSmith customers, and 5 of the Fortune 10 use LangSmith in production (+ 35% of the Fortune 500 overall), including teams at Klarna, Clay, Coinbase, Workday, Lyft, Cloudflare, Harvey, Rippling, Vanta, LinkedIn, Monday.com, Nvidia, and Bridgewater.

Role overview

You’ll be LangChain’s first Emerging Talent Recruiter, and you’ll build our intern and new grad program from scratch. Many of the best early-career engineers already build on LangChain and LangGraph. Your job is to hire them first and turn schools, student groups, and campus communities into a lasting pipeline for LangChain.

What you’ll do

* Stand up and scale intern and new grad hiring, starting with engineering.

* Build partnerships with universities, career centers, student groups, and hackathons.

* Own full-cycle recruiting for interns and new grads, grow into supporting full cycle recruiting for other technical teams

* Work with leaders to forecast hiring needs and tie each cohort to company priorities.

* Set up the processes, tools, and metrics we’ll use to track and improve the program.

* Support with talent brand and marketing initiatives.

What you’ll need

* 4+ years of recruiting experience, including 2+ in university or early-career recruiting at a high-growth company.

* Experience building or scaling an intern or new grad program, with numbers to show for it.

* Strong relationships with universities and outside partners.

* Ability to work independently, run several hiring cycles at once, and make decisions with data.

* Clear communication, including explaining LangChain’s mission to early-career engineers.

Nice to have

* Experience recruiting engineering, product, or data talent.

* Time at an early-stage or venture-backed startup.

* Experience running campus events, hackathons, or technical programs.

What we offer

* A blank page. You’re our first hire in this role. You decide how we find, hire, and grow early-career talent.

* A product students already use. Many of the engineers you’ll recruit already build with LangChain and LangGraph, so you start with real credibility on campus.

* Room to grow. We’re about 400 people and still growing fast. As the program grows, your scope grows with it.

* A team that moves. We aim high, ship early, and say what we see. You’ll work with recruiters and hiring managers who move quickly and care about the details.

Compensation

* Annual salary range: $135,000- $190,000

* Competitive benefits & equity

* Flexible time off

* monthly stipends for technology and health

Compensation Philosophy:

We will tell you early where you’re tracking and talk comp with you before offer stage. Team members in the EU, UK, and APAC receive locally competitive benefits aligned with regional norms and regulations.

Benefits

Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible vacation, a 401(k) plan, meals on in-office days in the US and more.
