Schedule
* Full-Time * Shifts may include: * 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM * 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM * Availability on weekends and holidays is required
Key Responsibilities
As a Cook, you'll help create an enjoyable dining experience while ensuring meals are prepared safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
* Preparing daily meals according to menus and dietary requirements * Cooking entrees, side dishes, soups, and specialty items * Serving resident meal selections and à la carte options * Maintaining food quality, presentation, and portion standards * Following sanitation and food safety guidelines * Assisting with inventory control and kitchen organization * Working closely with the dining services team to ensure exceptional service
Qualifications
We're looking for candidates who have:
* At least 1 year of cooking experience in a healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or high-volume restaurant setting * Ability to prepare large-batch meals while maintaining quality and consistency * Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices * Strong time management and teamwork skills * High school diploma or GED preferred * Food Safety Manager Certification preferred * Must be at least 21 years old
