Full time position (>30 hours / week). Part time position (<30 hours / week). Hours vary weekly.
About Frothy Monkey At Frothy Monkey, we serve more than just coffee. Our all day-menu includes breakfast, brunch, a kid’s menu, lunch, and dinner, accompanied by an enticing selection of craft beer, wine, and cocktails. We take pride in creating delicious offerings from scratch, using original recipes and thoughtfully sourced ingredients from regional farmers and producers whenever possible. As a part of our team, you'll not only be serving incredible food and drinks but also becoming an integral part of the communities we serve. Since 2004, Frothy Monkey has been a beloved staple in the Nashville community, earning accolades such as "Best Coffee Shop" and more in numerous publications—thanks to the support of our wonderful customers.
Job responsibilities include: * Prepare and serve espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and other beverages. * Constant drive for professional education and growth in all areas of coffee and tea * Willingness to learn and to share coffee/tea knowledge with guests and co-workers * Willingness to help ring up guests, buss tables, run food/drinks and help with any other general tasks as needed * Ability to multitask in a high volume environment while maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor * Maintain clean and organized workspace throughout each shift * Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage products * Maintain warm and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and co-workers * Ability to work with a team-first mentality throughout the entirety of each shift
Requirements: * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 8+ hours per shift). * Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds * Ability to bend, reach, twist, kneel, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. * Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
