Job Overview
Pulse is seeking a motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join the Corporate Pharmacy team in Blackburn. This is an excellent opportunity to support the safe and effective delivery of pharmacy services within a busy hospital environment. The successful candidate will work closely with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and patients to ensure the accurate supply and management of medicines.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the provision of high-quality pharmacy services across the hospital. * Dispense and prepare medications in accordance with departmental procedures and professional standards. * Assist with medicines management activities on wards and within pharmacy services. * Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to medication supplies. * Support stock control, ordering, and distribution of medicines. * Work collaboratively with pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams to promote patient safety. * Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
* Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). * Previous hospital pharmacy experience desirable. * Good understanding of medicines management and dispensing processes. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. * Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care and safety.
