About the role
Community Medical and Dental Care, Inc. is looking to hire a part-time temporary Medical Scribe to join our OB/GYN team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working closely with providers in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
* Transcribe patient appointments and document patient visits * Work directly with the OB/GYN provider to support patient care and clinical workflow * Assist with diagnostic tests, referrals, prescriptions, and patient paperwork * Review lab results and return patient calls as directed * Maintain accurate and complete patient charts and EMR documentation * Assist the provider with clinical and administrative support * Participate in daily huddles and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Requirements:
* Medical Scribe experience preferred * Medical office or OB/GYN experience preferred * Strong computer and EMR skills * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Strong attention to detail * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment * Professional and pleasant manner with patients and staff
