Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in Kenner, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and property through vigilant monitoring, prompt response to incidents, and adherence to security protocols.
* Patrol designated areas on foot or using company-provided vehicles to monitor for suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security breaches * Respond promptly and professionally to emergency situations following established procedures and protocols * Monitor surveillance systems and control access points to maintain facility security * Conduct regular security checks of buildings, grounds, and perimeter * Maintain detailed logs and prepare incident reports documenting all security-related activities * Manage and control the distribution of keys and access cards * Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary * Enforce company security policies and procedures * Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and concerns
Qualifications
* Must be at least 21years of age * Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring lifting, reaching, kneeling, and bending * Strong observation and surveillance skills with attention to detail * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities * Proven decision-making and problem-solving capabilities * Proficiency in completing detailed security reports and documentation * Experience with security monitoring systems and emergency response protocols * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record * Ability to obtain and maintain required security certifications * Basic computer skills for report writing and communication * Previous security experience in a corporate environment preferred * Must be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays * Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
