Maintenance Technician — $23.00 to $27.00 an hour, Full-Time Days, at Lutheran Home, a senior living community in Arlington Heights, IL.
Lutheran Home is a nonprofit senior living campus with independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing all on one campus. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll keep the buildings, grounds, and equipment running so residents and staff have a safe, comfortable place to live and work.
What You'll Do
* Repair and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems across the campus * Complete preventive maintenance and routine inspections * Troubleshoot and fix issues in resident apartments and common areas * Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs, including during your on-call rotation * Keep accurate records of work orders and completed repairs * Maintain grounds and building systems to support daily operations
What You'll Need
Required
* At least 1 year of maintenance or building services experience * Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and supplies as the job requires
Preferred
* High school diploma or equivalent * Experience in healthcare, senior living, or commercial facilities * Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems * Valid driver's license
