What You'll Do:
* Conduct fitness and aquatic classes, personal training, and wellness assessments. * Plan, implement, and evaluate fitness programs that promote healthy lifestyles. * Track resident participation and sustain engagement through motivation and new initiatives. * Ensure safe, clean facilities and maintain exercise equipment with preventative care. * Participate in ongoing professional development and support departmental goals as needed.
What You'll Need:
* High school graduate or equivalent (required) * Must be at least 18 years of age or older (required) * A bachelor’s degree in health science, physiology, kinesiology, fitness, or a related field (preferred) * Personal training and/or group exercise certification (preferred) * CPR and Lifeguard certification (preferred) * Will allow time for training the above certifications for the right candidate * Must have a passion for fitness and working with seniors
