Are you an experienced tech writer with a knack for cutting through the noise and getting to the point fast? Do you keep up with the latest developments across PC hardware, operating systems, software, and emerging tech?
How-To Geek is looking for News Writers to cover timely, informative technology news in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The How-To Geek team closely follows the tech industry, publishing news, explainers, tips, and guides that help readers understand how technology works and why it matters. Our coverage spans a wide range of consumer and enthusiast tech topics, from hardware launches to software updates and emerging platforms.
Coverage Areas Include:
* PC Hardware (Networking, Storage and NAS, Components, Peripherals) * Operating Systems (Windows, Linux) * Software and Applications * Mobile (Android, iPhone, Carriers) * New Tech (Hobbies, Smart Home, Homelab, SBCs, Cutting Edge) * Streaming (Content, Platforms, Audio/Video) * Automotive
Job Responsibilities:
* Ability to contribute reliably and consistently under tight deadlines * Stay up to date on the latest technology news, product launches, and updates * Coordinate with the editorial team for assignments and feedback * Input work into our in-house CMS according to editorial guidelines
