What You'll Do
* Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility * Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration * Monitor basic health status and report changes to the Community Director * Offer companionship, emotional support, and reassurance to residents * Lead or assist with engaging activities and social interactions * Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe, comfortable home * Safely assist with resident transfers and mobility as needed * Support a safe, nurturing environment that meets residents' physical and emotional needs
Required Qualifications
* Current New Jersey CHHA license required * Must be at least 18 years of age or older * Ability to lift and support up to 75 lbs for resident transfers and mobility assistance * Must have at least one year of experience with caregiving duties
Preferred Qualifications
* Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) * Previous experience in memory care, assisted living, or senior care
