Position Summary:
Sentry Force Security is seeking dependable, professional, and observant Unarmed Security Officers to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at a professional facility. Officers will be responsible for monitoring the premises, providing access control, observing and reporting unusual activity, and assisting with maintaining a safe environment for employees, visitors, and guests.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor facility premises and maintain a visible security presence.
* Control access to the property and monitor visitor entry.
* Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols.
* Observe, identify, and report suspicious or unusual activity.
* Respond professionally to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations.
* De-escalate challenging situations using sound judgment and effective communication.
* Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation.
* Follow all company policies, post orders, and client procedures.
Qualifications:
* Valid Virginia DCJS Unarmed Security Officer registration.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
* Good judgment, dependability, and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Previous security or customer service experience preferred.
