About the role

Job Description

You'll own commercial performance for a set of countries within our Fuel business, working across sales, account management and customer service to find and act on opportunities that improve revenue, margin and retention.

This isn't a reporting role: you'll be expected to influence decisions and senior stakeholders with a goal of creating evidence-led insight to support commercial actions that move the P&L. Getting this right means Radius grows profitably in the markets you cover, with pricing and commission structures that actually support the strategy rather than working against it.

Day to day, you'll build and maintain forecasting models and business cases, run performance reviews that translate data into clear recommendations, and design or govern commission schemes for sales and account management teams. You'll work closely with customer-facing teams and central functions including digital, data services, salesforce and finance, so you'll need to move comfortably between detailed analysis and stakeholder conversations. Expect a mix of self-directed detail focussed work and meetings where you're presenting findings and pushing for action.

Your daily responsibilities will be...

* Partnering with commercial teams - Work with Sales, Account Management and Customer Service to provide commercial insight where the data suggests a better path. * Driving country initiatives - Own the delivery of country-specific initiatives, identifying opportunities that improve revenue, margin, retention and overall P&L performance. * Influencing senior stakeholders - Provide data-led recommendations to senior stakeholders on performance improvement and growth opportunities. * Holding performance reviews - Run country performance reviews with key stakeholders, turning complex data into clear recommendations and business strategies. * Managing risk and opportunity - Proactively spot risks and opportunities and track corrective actions through to delivery. * Building forecasting models - Develop and maintain forecasting models, scenario planning and business cases to support investment, pricing and growth decisions. * Governing commission schemes - Responsible for the modelling, design, implementation and governance of sales and account management commission schemes, aligned to strategic priorities.

Qualifications

Essential:

* Educated to degree level with a minimum of 2:2 (lower second class honours) * Has managed relationships with stakeholders across multiple teams or functions to influence stakeholders across various levels. * Can build and interpret analytical or forecasting models to support commercial outcomes. * Has presented data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders and can point to a resulting outcome. * Has led or contributed to project work with multiple stages and stakeholders, tracked through to completion. * Can identify errors or inconsistencies in analysis, data or processes before they reach senior stakeholders. * Has worked on commercial performance metrics such as revenue, margin or retention and taken action based on them.

Desirable:

* Can write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data * Has built dashboards or reports in Tableau * Is proficient in MS Excel, including modelling functions such as pivot tables and lookups * Has designed or administered a sales or account management commission scheme * Has worked in a fuel, fleet or B2B commercial environment

Additional Information

What to expect from us?

* A workplace where you're trusted to own outcomes, not just tasks. * Colleagues across functions who value clear, evidence-based recommendations. * Support to develop your commercial and analytical skills on the job. * A culture that expects you to speak up when the data says something needs to change.

Not only will you have the chance to further your career development within Radius, but you’ll also have access to our competitive reward and benefits package.

Our benefits:

* Pension plan * Life assurance * Employee fuel card scheme * Electric Vehicle salary sacrifice scheme * Employee assistance programme * 24 hour wellness and healthcare assistance via ‘Help@Hand’ by Unum * Time off for fertility treatment and in the event of pregnancy loss * ‘Cycle to work’ scheme

And of course, you will be part of a modern purpose-built space in Crewe that will provide you with an outstanding working environment complete with gym, café, games rooms, and more!
