A warm and welcoming Oak Brook family is seeking an experienced, career Nanny Manager to join their household and provide loving, reliable care for their children. This part-time role is ideal for a confident, organized, and nurturing professional who enjoys supporting a busy household.
Position Details
* Location: Oak Brook, IL * Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM–9 PM * Compensation: $30-$35/hr. (DOE) * Benefits: Guaranteed 22.5 hours + PTO * Start Date: ASAP * Children: Primary care for 2 children at home (ages 3 years and 1 year) * Older children are in full-time school or camps all year; occasional support needed * Pets: One small dog (no care required)
Primary Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate care for the 1-year-old and 3-year-old * Plan engaging activities that support growth, learning, and daily routines * Prepare light meals for children. * Diaper changes and support potty training in a positive, consistent, and developmentally appropriate manner * Transport older children to after-school activities. * Run child- and family-related errands, such as returns and light pickups * Help with nighttime routines. * Maintain order and structure in children’s spaces in coordination with the live-in housekeeper * Communicate clearly and collaboratively with parents
Ideal Candidate
* Experienced career nanny with a background in multi-child households * Loving, patient, and trustworthy with excellent judgment * Highly organized and proactive, with strong attention to detail * Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic household environment * Comfortable with a parent present * Strong driving history and a reliable personal vehicle
