About the role

Your Mission should you choose to accept it…

You, as our new Marketing and Activations coordinator, will activate and drive the The Social Hub brand and experience in the Barcelona and San Sebastian markets. You'll actively manage the (social) channels to create true community engagement. This comes easy for you since you're known to be super creative with an entrepreneurial mindset. Together with the rest of your superstar-team in those cities, as well as the guidance of our experts working in the global Hub in Amsterdam, you'll create and roll-out the local marketing & communications plan and turn our Iberia region into an instant success!

In case you don’t know who we are:

Known for being the rule breakers in hospitality, The Social Hubis a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play and most importantly – be themselves. As an employer we look, act and think like a hotel, but instead we offer a lot more. Think student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink escapes as well as community and coworking spaces. Located in The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Portugal, and Spain with several new openings on the way, this hybrid hospitality concept may take root in the heart of Europe, but our plans are set for going global.

What You’ll Do:

* You’ll create the marketing plan and execute through multiple marketing & communication channels like PR, brand partnerships & influencer activations, social media, offline marketing and/or events.  * You’ll manage and execute F&B Marketing plan via different online and offline channels   * You’ll drive creation, localization and quality control of brand (marketing) assets and global The Social Hub brand campaigns.   * You’ll own and maintain local content on thesocialhub.co and ensure accuracy and consistency across all distribution channels and third-party platforms.  * You’ll analyse and deliver Market insights & intelligence.   * You’ll manage the local social media channels and create community newsletter.   * You’ll manage the local marketing budgets.   * You’ll pro-actively connect with our (online) Community & build direct relations with interesting external parties.  * You’ll manage media/press and influencer relationships.  * You’re responsible for local content.

Who You Are:

* You demonstrate excellent problem analysis skills and decision making.  * You are result driven!   * You are proactive, hands-on mentality, drive and ambition to grow with the organization.  * You have experience in a similar marketing & communications role, with previous exposure to social media.  * You have a commercial mindset.   * You are creative and eager to build and maintain relationships with our partners.   * You’re fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken), other languages are a bonus  * Ideally, you have a background Hospitality, Lifestyle Brands, Hotel Management, or the Travel industry

What We Offer

* The opportunity to work at a dynamic, multi-national company. Not just another hotel - we’re a game changing innovator, challenging every convention and defining the future.  * The chance to learn and grow in your role with the potential for future growth.  * Awesome discounts in all our properties in Europe and not just for you, but also for your friends and family!  * A wonderful workplace to call home, full of events, fun colleagues and all the other amazing salary/benefits stuff.

At The Social Hub, we believe pay should be fair and consistent. That's why we carefully determine your starting salary based on the role, your assessed proficiency, and our salary framework. We make our best and fairest offer upfront, so we don't negotiate salaries. Because fairness shouldn’t depend on who negotiates best.

Who you are, is how we want you to be. To us, hybrid hospitality goes across the board, from how we service our guests to how we represent ourselves. Here, everyone belongs, and we welcome people no matter their nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion or culture. Your authenticity keeps our team diverse. Come as you are.
