Operations & Projects Coordinator |📍London – 2 days in office | 💰Competitive Salary + Benefits

About the Role

Help keep Moonpig's Irish and US operations running smoothly as we grow. This junior project management and operations role combines hands-on coordination with delivery of smaller projects, supported by the New Markets Operations Lead.

You will help progress operational issues, coordinate suppliers and stakeholders, and deliver improvements that support a great customer experience across fast-moving, developing markets.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day Irish and US fulfilment activity, monitoring dispatch-on-time performance, backlogs, quality and delivery issues; escalate risks and track corrective actions.

Maintain project plans, milestones, action trackers and risk logs; organise meetings, capture decisions, and follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Own smaller operational projects with guidance and coordinate workstreams within larger initiatives.

Support onboarding of a new flowers fulfilment centre, including on-site card printing, systems integration and readiness for Sunday delivery.

Coordinate operational workstreams for new propositions such as single-box multi-gift, personalised alcohol and personalised sleeves.

Support packaging trials and implementation, including giant-card branded packaging, quality improvements and cost reduction.

Coordinate operational input into supplier reviews, contract renewals, stock-system developments and alcohol launch readiness, working with relevant specialist teams.

Track readiness across capacity, stock, packaging, cut-offs and contingency plans for peak periods; support peak monitoring and post-event improvement actions.

Work with Logistics, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, Commercial, Product, Engineering, Finance, Procurement and Legal, providing clear updates and plans.

About You:

Experience coordinating operational activity, projects or multiple workstreams, gained through employment, an internship or a placement.

Ability to maintain organised plans and action trackers, prioritise competing tasks and follow through on deadlines.

Confidence following up with stakeholders, challenging overdue actions and escalating issues when support or decisions are needed.

Clear written and verbal communication, including concise status updates, meeting notes and escalation summaries.

Ability to use Excel or Google Sheets to maintain trackers, analyse performance and identify trends or exceptions.

Practical problem-solving skills, including gathering information, identifying likely causes and coordinating next steps.

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external suppliers.

Attention to detail and the ability to adapt priorities during busy trading periods.

Comfort working with data to help guide decisions.

Experience in a fast-moving operational or e-commerce environment, or with international suppliers, would be helpful.

An interest in how products are produced, fulfilled and delivered to customers, and in using data, project tools, AI or automation to improve ways of working.

Flexibility to support operations across time zones where needed.
