About the role
Picerne Real Estate Group has been building and managing properties on a continuing basis since 1925. With 3 generations of Picerne leadership providing continued growth on a national stage, pride of ownership is very important to our company. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician with proven skills for two apartment communities located in New Britain, CT. A general knowledge of apartment maintenance is required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Preparation of market-ready units, including basic mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical as needed, in a timely manner. * Demonstrate effective and exceptional communication skills for communicating with residents, coworkers, and management. * Demonstrate ability to contribute to and foster a team approach to serving residents and maintaining a successful community. * Snow removal. * Responsible for assisting custodial team with upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, clubhouse, parking lots and other community buildings as needed. * Contribute to the achievement of occupancy goals by completing all tasks pridefully and successfully.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma/equivalent * Valid driver's license required * Reliable vehicle
