About the role
* Job Title : Windows IoT Core Embedded Engineer * Client: Arrow Electronics * Work Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin * some flexiblity 3-4 days onsite with 1-2 days remote can be provided if that is mandtory ask from excellent candidates) * Visa: All visa, except H1B transfer * C2C engagements are allowed.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent knowledge in the application of modern software engineering principles, theories, concepts, and techniques * Typically requires 8+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated professional development in software design and development. * Ability to understand and apply knowledge of object-oriented analysis, design, and programming techniques, especially in C++ and C#. * Experience working with real-time embedded development environments. * Experience with large scale refactoring of embedded software systems * Experience developing software to meet security standards such as IEC 62443 * Past technical leadership experience in an agile development setting * In depth knowledge of software engineering and application of engineering principles and practices in a related field * Experience in Windows IoT Enterprise Development – Must * Experience in using open-source tools like GitHub and Jenkins * Experience in x86 and ARM hardware architecture and board bring-up. * Advanced courses or degree in engineering, computer science or controls
