Job Type: Full time
Salary: £14.40ph including service
Venue closed on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings.
* Assist in the preparation and service of food to a consistently high standard, following recipes and instructions from senior chefs. * Support chefs across different kitchen sections and assist with catering for functions and events as required. * Help with the preparation of ingredients, mise en place, and daily food production to ensure smooth kitchen operations. * Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, equipment, and storage areas at all times. * Assist with stock rotation, storage, and inventory checks, helping to minimise waste and report shortages. * Ensure all dishes are presented in line with company standards and chef specifications. * Follow all company policies and legal requirements, including food safety, fire safety, and security procedures. * Adhere to all Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations, ensuring a safe and hygienic working environment. * Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn, developing culinary skills through on-the-job training and guidance from senior chefs.
Qualifications
* Well organised with good time management skills. * Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Passion for food and high standards. * Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills. * Strong team player with a positive attitude. * Good attention to detail. * Clear communication skills. * Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential.
