About the job We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our finance team as of February 2027. The internship will take place in our office in Louvain-la-Neuve. This internship is designed for students pursuing a degree in accounting who are looking to gain practical experience in the accounting profession.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliation.
* Participate in month-end and (year-end) closing procedures.
* Conduct research and compile data for various accounting projects and reports.
* Assist with audit preparations and provide support during audits.
* Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
* Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Accounting.
* Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Experience using the Google Suite and Google sheet; experience with accounting software is a plus.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluent in French and English.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
