VSC Fire & Security in Houston, Texas is seeking candidates for the position of Fabricator.

What you need:
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and /or drawings to determine the specific requirements. * Can operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators. * Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. * Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks emphasis on safety and quality standards. * Professional and friendly demeanor for internal and external transactions. * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. * Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills. * Eagerness for professional development and growth. * Ability to pass various background checks.
What you will do:
* Responsible for fitting and welding of steel, aluminum and stainless-steel parts using a TIG process. * Set up welding machines based on the job using a Welding Procedure Specification. * Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities. * Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. * Responsible for fitting and welding of steel aluminum, and stainless-steel, assembling parts, and complete any tasks assigned by a supervisor. * Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per VSC policies.
This role is designated as safety-sensitive due to responsiblities that could entail the use of motor vehicles, mobile equipment, working at heights, climbing ladders, and utilizing lift equipment.
