About the role

Working for a "good company" company

Own the technical performance of four award-winning hotels across Europe. Great hospitality starts long before guests check in, and this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact on the operational excellence and long-term success of our hotels. If that sounds like your next challenge, then keep reading.

Zoku provides a home for business travelers who want to live in a city for between a few days and a few months. We're a new type of hotel offering a relaxed place to live, co-work and socialize across Europe. Join an international team of driven, proactive and fun-loving people who all have one thing in common: a passion for connecting people across the globe.

TELL ME MORE

When everything is running smoothly, guests rarely notice the work happening behind the scenes. They simply enjoy a seamless stay. At Zoku, we know that exceptional hospitality relies on well-maintained buildings, reliable systems, and a proactive approach to asset management. We’re now taking maintenance to the next level, with clear ownership in every hotel. That’s where you come in.

As Regional Maintenance & Asset Manager, you’ll own maintenance centrally from our Support Office. You set the technical standard for Amsterdam, Vienna, Copenhagen and Paris. You coach the maintenance teams in our hotels, who do the day-to-day work, and you hold them to account. You also support them on risk, compliance and asset quality, so all our locations stay in top condition. You’ll shape the long-term maintenance plan and investment priorities across our four hotels. If you're a senior, proactive problem-solver and a strong project manager who enjoys creating structure, driving improvements and making a visible impact across multiple locations, we'd love to meet you.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

No day looks the same as a Regional Maintenance & Asset Manager… but here's a glimpse of what you can expect.

Your responsibilities include:

* Set the preventive maintenance plan and standards for all hotels, covering  Building works, Technical systems, FF&E, Fire Life Safety and permits. Put asset registers, work-order discipline and reporting in place.

* Coach our General Managers and local maintenance teams to execute and check preventive maintenance in their hotel.

* Oversee building systems, statutory checks and critical technical risks.

* Visit Amsterdam, Vienna, Copenhagen and Paris regularly to review performance and support local teams.

* Manage the central register of equipment, suppliers and service contracts across all four hotels. Advise hotels on service contracts, with General Managers responsible for execution. Set clear standards for contractors and service partners covering scope, cost, response times (SLAs), compliance and quality.

* Own the multi-year maintenance and capex plan for all four hotels together with the Finance Director. Prepare capex and planned-maintenance proposals based on safety, guest impact, asset condition and cost.

* Approve the hotel’s capex requests.

* Own the technical relationship with owners and landlords on all technical and asset matters. Keep a clear split of responsibilities per building, so it's always clear what's on us what's on the landlord and keep an overview of service costs for all four hotels. Track recurring defects, open risks and out-of-order lofts until action is complete.

* Identify practical opportunities to improve reliability and reduce energy waste.

* Keep one shared home for drawings, manuals and technical documentation.

* Make sure our buildings are in great shape to support guest review scores of at least 9.0 on Booking.com. Flag early on what that takes, and what it costs.

You'll work closely with our General Managers, the local maintenance teams, Operations Director, Finance Director, external technical partners and landlords.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

* A gross monthly salary starting at €6.000, depending on your relevant experience.

* Participation in a pension plan.

* Great perks, including various discounts, and special rates for your friends and family at all Zoku locations.

* A young, fun, and international company where you can learn, grow, and share experiences with colleagues from around the world.

* Exciting training opportunities and fun events throughout the year to celebrate achievements and milestones.

* The opportunity to travel to other Zoku locations to meet and connect with colleagues.

* A full-time position (40 hours per week) at one of the 25 coolest hotels in the world, a place that feels like a second home and is driven by a clear mission.
