About the role

Job Description

In the Software Engineering Excellence (TDD) unit, we are passionate about building great software and empowering digital innovation at scale. Our teams work across software engineering, platform engineering, data services and technical excellence, collaborating with business and technology experts throughout Statkraft. Together, we develop the digital products and platforms that help drive the energy transition while creating lasting value for one of Europe's leading renewable energy companies.

The Platform Excellence (TDDP) team develops and manages platforms used across Statkraft, combining in-house developed and third-party components. As System Manager Data Solutions, you will connect business, engineering, security, operations and vendors, translating evolving data and AI needs into coordinated priorities and improvements. Through this work, you will help deliver trusted data and AI capabilities that enable analytics, AI and value creation at scale.

You will

* Manage Atlan, Statkraft’s data catalogue and governance platform for discovering, understanding, governing and managing data. * Manage Microsoft Fabric, an end-to-end cloud analytics platform supporting data engineering, integration, warehousing, real-time analytics, data science and business intelligence. * Work closely with other teams across TDD and the business to understand their needs, support solution design and implement changes in line with agreed plans. * Ensure internal IT, ITIL and information management requirements and policies are followed. * Build and maintain effective vendor relationships through regular dialogue, commercial discussions and contract follow-up.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience managing cloud platforms or other business-critical IT systems, who can connect technical, operational and business needs.

* Experience managing cloud platforms, cloud services or other business-critical IT systems, with an understanding of data and analytics platforms and their lifecycle. * Knowledge of data engineering, data governance and metadata management, including data pipelines and data quality practices. * Experience translating business and developer needs into platform requirements and improvements, balancing usability, governance, reliability and competing priorities. * Experience with IT service management, including ITIL, ServiceNow, incident, problem and change management, as well as monitoring, operational dashboards and integration testing. * Working knowledge of SQL, Python and APIs, with an understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure as code and deployment processes. * Experience working with technology vendors and service providers, including contracts, licences, service levels, platform roadmaps and cost management. * Ability to collaborate and build alignment across business, engineering, security and operations, while working independently when needed.

Effective written and verbal communication skills in English are important for the role, while Norwegian language skills are an advantage.
