Position Summary: CVS Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team and contribute to architecture, application modernization, cloud adoption, AI integration, and enterprise solution delivery across business-critical platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
* Architect, design, develop, and support enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET 8+, Web APIs, and Microservices * Lead modernization initiatives involving IBM i (AS400/RPG/RPGLE/DB2) systems and integration with modern technology platforms * Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, including performance tuning, stored procedures, indexing, and ETL processes * Implement AI-powered solutions using Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Generative AI, AI Agents, and Machine Learning services * Develop and maintain scalable cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure * Define architecture standards, security best practices, and development frameworks * Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions * Lead development teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers * Drive DevOps adoption, CI/CD automation, and application lifecycle management
Required Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in Microsoft technologies (C#, or .Net framework * 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS or GCP) * 1+ year of Agentic AI tool experience
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with ASP.NET MVC/Core, REST APIs, Entity Framework, LINQ or Visual Studio
* Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Query Optimization, Performance Tuning or DB2
* Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes or CI/CD Pipelines
* Experience with Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or AI Governance and Security
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$101,970.00 - $203,940.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
