About the role
Position Summary
Provides administrative support to the QHSE Manager in carrying out and promoting the company’s health, safety and environmental management system across its electrical and mechanical project sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Track, sort, file and log weekly HSE site documentation used for trend analysis. * Request, track and follow up on subcontractor safety documentation. * Prepare project-specific HSE site files and binders; keep personnel-specific files current. * Set up HSE site safety boards and emergency response postings. * Coordinate fall protection equipment inspections and maintain the equipment inventory report. * Send training notifications so employees stay current; update training certificates and records. * Copy and scan certificates for new hires. * Assemble take-away packages for in-house training sessions. * Monitor HSE-scope equipment and issue reminders for annual inspections and calibrations. * Check in HSE supply orders and monitor stock levels for re-ordering. * Other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite. * Strong communication skills with a positive, solution-oriented attitude. * Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. * Strong organizational and administrative skills.
