About the role
Title: Senior/Mid-Level Estimator
Level: Senior to Mid-Level (8-18+ years of experience)
Talent Compensation: $1,500–$2,500/month
Time Zone: US Mountain Time (Utah-based company; remote position)
What They'll Do
* Develop detailed construction estimates using HeavyBid software (primary requirement)
* Perform takeoffs using Civil 3D and AgTech/screen takeoff tools
* Create thought-driven estimates with custom unit pricing (not template-based green sheets)
* Estimate heavy civil projects: earthwork, grading, underground utilities, and light structural work
* Support business scaling and project growth
* Work directly with company leadership on estimating strategy
Ideal Candidate
* 8–18+ years of estimating experience, specifically in heavy civil/earthwork
* Fluent English speaker with professional communication skills
* Bachelor's degree holder
* Prior experience working with U.S. market (domestic or remote)
* Senior or mid-level mindset with independent problem-solving ability
* Located in Latin America or Central America (remote-friendly timezone)
Standout Signal
* Direct HeavyBid software experience (non-negotiable; this is the primary filtering criterion)
* Alternative: Experience with Bid to Win software (transferable skills due to similar structure)
* Demonstrates ability to think critically about estimates rather than mechanically applying unit prices
