Teacher Responsibilities
The Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports children's learning, growth, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create a positive, welcoming, and organized classroom environment. * Lead daily classroom routines and activities. * Encourage children to develop independence, confidence, and positive social skills. * Plan and implement age-appropriate Montessori activities. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom. * Actively supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being. * Promote positive behavior and effective classroom management. * Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support children's development. * Assist with lesson preparation and ensure classroom materials and supplies are ready. * Support the daily needs of the classroom and contribute to a positive learning experience for every child.
Compensation: $12-$15 DOE
