What You'll Do: * Lead daily kitchen operations as a hands-on working supervisor * Prepare and cook meals according to established menus * Inventory management and budgeting * Perform dishwashing and kitchen clean-up duties as needed * Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality standards * Provide oversight and direction to cooks who work independently on assigned shifts
What You'll Need: * Minimum 3 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment (required) * Texas Food Safety Manager Certification (required) * Prior experience with hands on cooking, food safety and sanitation knowledge, and staff leadership * Must be at least 21 years of age * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds * Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen/dining environment
