About the role
Windsor Troy Law, LLP, is a civil litigation firm that focuses on plaintiff's side personal injury and school/government liability cases. We’re looking for a recently licensed Personal Injury Attorney to join our team and begin building a successful career in personal injury law.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly admitted attorney who is eager to learn, develop litigation skills, and work alongside an experienced legal team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of various types of personal injury matters in litigation * Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients, including filing complaints * Draft meet and confer letters to opposing counsel regarding discovery disputes * Prepare clients for depositions and other applicable hearings * Take and defend depositions throughout the course of litigation * Prepare and respond to motions, including dispositive motions * Attend court appearances * Negotiate settlements for personal injury cases * Direct and support investigation on all assigned litigation matters
Qualifications
* Recently admitted to the Bar and licensed to practice law in the applicable state. * Strong interest in Personal Injury law. * Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. * Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required * Strong communication and client service skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Experience with legal case management software is a plus. * Conducting Depositions
Salary: $80,000 - $130,000 a year
