Join the Team at Delaware Elevator of Florida! Delaware Elevator of Florida is seeking experienced Elevator Service Technicians to join our team in the Orlando/Daytona area. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service by maintaining, repairing, and modernizing elevators in both private and public infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Mechanical & Electrical Repairs: Service, repair, adjust, and test elevators and related equipment using mechanical and electrical principles. * Attention to Detail: Monitor and evaluate elevator performance, identifying and addressing issues promptly to ensure safety and efficiency. * On-Call Rotation: Participate in scheduled rotations for after-hours emergencies, entrapments, and repairs. * Independent Work: Manage service tasks efficiently while maintaining customer satisfaction. * Fit-for-Duty: Perform all physical requirements of the role independently and effectively. * Travel Requirements: Be available to travel as necessary, including occasional overnight stays. * Team Support: Collaborate with repair teams on projects involving heavy lifting or specialized requirements.
Qualifications
* A minimum of 5 years of experience as an independent Elevator Mechanic/Technician. * Valid Elevator Mechanic Credentials: State elevator licenses considered with additional experience. * Strong mechanical aptitude and proven troubleshooting skills. * Ability to meet fit-for-duty requirements, including physical tasks. * Dedication to safety, precision, and superior customer service.
