Job Description
* Provides professional nursing care to residents through the proper administration of prescribed medications and treatments * Monitors the medication and treatment cart, nurses' station, and medication room to ensure that expired medications are properly disposed of and narcotics are counted per policy and regulations * Supports the scheduler in the scheduling function * Makes daily round and audits, including shift report to ensure proper care, documentation, and order transcription to maintain high standards for this department. * Assigns duties to PCAs and takes an active role in supervising, educating, and helping them develop.
Qualifications
* Current LPN licensure in the State of Delaware. * General working knowledge of the aging services industry. * Proven supervisory and leadership skills.
