Requirements
Responsibilities
TRANSPORT PLANNING & SHIPMENT MONITORING
* Monitor ongoing shipments using track & trace tools and make adjustments where necessary.
* Follow up on transport operations and ensure the smooth coordination of container movements.
* Identify potential issues and implement appropriate solutions to minimise disruptions.
* Maintain regular communication with the planning department to ensure efficient transport operations.
CUSTOMER & KEY ACCOUNT COORDINATION
* Act as the main point of contact between key accounts and the planning department.
* Handle incoming telephone calls and emails, ensuring that requests are dealt with efficiently.
* Communicate with customers and provide regular feedback on the status of their shipments.
* Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through a friendly, professional and service-oriented approach.
DRIVER COMMUNICATION & OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
* Maintain regular contact with drivers and act as their point of contact for day-to-day operational issues.
* Identify suitable solutions to address drivers' questions and operational challenges.
* Coordinate with the relevant internal teams to resolve issues and ensure continuity of operations.
* Ensure clear and accurate communication between drivers, customers and the planning department.
Profile
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
* You hold a bachelor's degree or have equivalent professional experience.
* You have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in container transport planning.
* You have a good geographical knowledge and understand the operational requirements of transport planning.
* Experience coordinating shipments and communicating with customers and drivers is an asset.
LANGUAGES
* You are proficient in Dutch, French and English, both spoken and written.

* You have strong geographical knowledge and enjoy working in a transport environment.
* You possess excellent communication skills and can interact effectively with customers, drivers and colleagues.
* You are accurate, detail-oriented and well organised.
