As a Carpenter, you'll work from blueprints, drawings, and direction from our Lead Carpenters and Project Managers to bring residential remodeling projects to life — from framing through finish work. It's hands-on, varied work, and every project is a chance to sharpen your craft.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Carpentry Tasks
* Complete and assist with tasks such as framing, installation of doors and windows, trim work, cabinetry, flooring, and other structural or finishing elements * Utilize hand tools, machines, and power tools * Work from blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions, ensuring adherence * Follow safety protocols and keep the worksite clean and organized
Collaboration
* Understand project requirements, timelines, and budgets * Interpret specifications in project scope, sketches, or building plans to assist with project layout and determine dimensions and required materials * Effectively communicate with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors, and other personnel to provide project updates, address concerns, and resolve issues
Project Documentation
* Complete progress reports, work logs, and material records * Communicate change orders and submit reimbursement requests in accordance with applicable policies * Accurately input timekeeping information to ensure correct job costing
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* 2+ years of experience in carpentry preferred * High school diploma or equivalent required; formal training in carpentry or drafting/blueprint reading, and trade certifications, are a plus * Solid understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools * The ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents * Strong verbal and written communication skills * The ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently * A detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality
