About the role

📍 Location: Flexible (UK)

🧩 Remit: Delivery & availability systems, monolith to domain-driven architecture, AI-native product work

🎯 Focus: Shape what our customers can buy, when it arrives and how it gets there, and untangle the monolith behind it.

About Product at Bloom & Wild 🌸

We're Europe's largest direct-to-consumer flower and gifting business (Bloom & Wild, bloomon and Bergamotte), now growing into cakes, candles and hampers. Our 16-strong Product team works in 8 squads, with fortnightly sprints and quarterly OKRs, across London, Amsterdam and fully remote. The Delivery & Availability (DAM) squad sits behind every order: it shapes what customers can buy, when it arrives and how it gets there.

The Role

You'll own the roadmap for our delivery and availability systems and guide a squad of 6 alongside a technical lead. Much of this lives in a large monolith that has grown with the business, and you'll help us untangle it: setting clear domain boundaries and making sure every change lands safely, especially around Christmas and Mother's Day. You'll work with Operations, Commercial and Logistics, and use AI to move faster.

Key Responsibilities

Roadmap Ownership: Own the DAM roadmap, balancing a cleaner domain-driven architecture with commercial value along the way.

Monolith Untangling: Choose what to change and when, so every release lands safely for customers, warehouse and logistics teams.

Range & Carrier Growth: Launch new carriers and more complex product categories with Operations, Commercial and Logistics.

Data & AI: Shape clean data models and interfaces that enable automation and agentic commerce, using AI tools (including MCP-based tooling) for research, debugging and analysis.

Outcomes: Own squad KPIs, measure impact, course-correct and keep senior stakeholders informed.

What We're Looking For

Roadmap Experience: You’ve owned a product roadmap end-to-end as a Technical Product Owner or Manager.

Monolith Experience: You’ve worked inside a large monolith to set domain boundaries, bounded contexts or service extractions.

Cross-Functional Working: At your best working with Operations, Commercial, Logistics and engineering to solve ambiguous problems.

AI & Data Curiosity: Hands-on with AI tools, and you love turning data into decisions.

Don't check every box? Please apply anyway! We hire for potential and diverse perspectives over exhaustive checklists.

Perks & Benefits

✨ Flexibility: Core hours, flexible working, plus up to 45 days a year to work abroad.

🌴 Time Off: 25 days holiday + birthday + flexible bank holidays (option to buy 5 extra days) + a volunteering day.

🌱 Growth & Wellbeing: Equity options, health cash plan, Classpass, Bloom & Learn training framework, enhanced family leave and generous product discounts.

How We Hire

1. Initial chat with Chloe, our TA Manager 2. Video call interview with our Head of Product (for Ops Tech) 3. A longer format interview split into two: one section with some of our engineers and the other section with others from product 4. 30-minute final conversation with our CPTO

Need interview adjustments? Tell us in your application - we are more than happy to support you however we can.
