About the Division UMC HomeWorks, the home care division of United Methodist Communities, has supported older adults throughout New Jersey for more than 100 years. Our Live-In Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) provide personalized assistance that helps clients remain comfortable and supported in their home environment while receiving guidance from an experienced nursing team.
What you'll do
* Provide attentive, live-in support tailored to an individual client's needs and daily routine * Assist with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility support, and wellness reminders * Support meal preparation, dining assistance, and light household tasks * Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities as needed * Observe client well-being and communicate relevant updates to members of the care team
What you'll need Required:
* Current New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification * At least 18 years of age * Able to speak with your client and our nurses in English and read the care plan
Preferred:
* Previous experience providing care or support in a home-based setting
Pay and benefits:
* $241 to $257 per day, depending on case * Mileage reimbursement between client visits * Paid sick time * $500 referral bonus for CHHA hires you refer * Paid training and scholarships to grow your career * 403(b) retirement plan * Some benefits vary by position, shift, and hours
