About the role
As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Sevaa’s hosting infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
* Design & Implement a next-generation DevOps Pipeline to include, standardized configuration, automated testing (security, static code, e2e, accessibility, SEO), automated reporting, infrastructure monitoring & self-healing. * Maintain existing infrastructure delivering managed WordPress & Drupal hosting. * Evaluate current local development environment and implement improvements * Contribute to Documentation Library on infrastructure, internal policies, and procedures. * Virtualization platform evaluation * Infrastructure monitoring evaluation * Ensure documentation of Sevaa Network is accurate and kept up to date
* Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. * Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. * Self-driven with a growth mindset and a proven track record of self-improvement. * Experience with Content Management Systems such as WordPress or Drupal. * Familiarity with Privacy Laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA with an understanding of how to implement compliant solutions. * A deep understanding of performance metrics and techniques to improve them through various methods such as caching, preprocessing images, efficient search engines. * Experience with what powers our infrastructure: * Operating Systems: Ubuntu, CentOS, CloudLinux * Services: Apache, Nginx, Memcache, MySQL, MariaDB * Security: CSF, iptables, ModSecurity, Snort * Monitoring: Zabbix, StatusCake, PagerDuty, syslog * Applications: WordPress, Drupal * CDN: Cloudflare, StackPath * Control Panel: cPanel * Application performance monitoring for PHP and JavaScript based web applications * GitLab for git hosting, CI/CD, and package management * Containerization
