What you'll be doing
As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager to keep the pub running smoothly, inspire your team and deliver an experience that keeps customers coming back.
* Lead and inspire your team: Motivate, develop and support your people to be their best every day.
* Deliver exceptional service: Put customers first and make sure every guest enjoys a warm welcome and great experience.
* Drive pub performance: Support sales, profitability and operational standards while spotting opportunities to grow the business.
* Keep things running smoothly: Take ownership of day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards across the pub.
* Develop future talent: Coach your team, recognise potential and help create opportunities for career progression.
* Work as one team: Partner with the General Manager to build a positive culture where everyone feels supported and valued.
Qualifications
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who brings energy, ambition and a genuine passion for hospitality.
* Experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality.
* A natural leader who can motivate, coach and develop a team.
* A customer-first approach with a passion for delivering great service.
* Commercial awareness and an understanding of how to drive sales and performance.
* The confidence to make decisions, solve problems and take ownership.
* A positive, hands-on attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Most importantly, you'll be someone who leads by example, enjoys bringing people together and is ready to take the next step in their career.
