Are you a skilled Foochow interpreter looking for a flexible and rewarding opportunity? As a remote interpreter, you play a significant role in facilitating communication between Foochow and English speakers. The interpreter needs to be able to process information quickly and accurately in a professional manner. It is essential to ensure a quiet and secure environment. Notepads, writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries are useful tools.
Candidate Qualifications:
* Fluency in English and Foochow * Minimum 2 year of interpretation experience * Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy * Ability to render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions * Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with permission or at the request of the client
Technical Requirements:
* 90% English proficiency * Steady wired internet connection * USB wired headset * Windows 10 or Mac
