A/C Installation Engineer
Company: Artic Building Services Working Hours: 08:00-17:00
Artic Building Services is seeking an experienced and motivated A/C Installation Engineer to be actively involved in air-conditioning installation projects. The successful candidate will maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, commission and test a range of air-conditioning systems. * Ensure installations comply with manufacturers' instructions, project specifications and relevant regulations. * Maintain high health and safety standards, including completing site documentation and risk assessments on a PDA. * Identify and resolve installation issues promptly. * Support maintenance and service activities when required. * Ensure tools, materials and equipment are used safely and effectively. * Complete installation records, progress reports and other required documentation. * Mentor less-experienced team members and promote good working practices.
* Positive attitude “can do, will do”. * Flexible in approach to hours and solving problems on site * Commercially astute, driven to identify and generate additional works / sales
Experience and Qualifications
* At least 5 years of A/C installation experience. * Relevant air-conditioning, refrigeration or mechanical engineering qualifications including F-Gas * Strong practical knowledge of A/C installation methods, equipment and commissioning procedures. * Good working knowledge of maintenance and service activities. * Good understanding of health and safety requirements. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Strong communication and problem-solving skills. * Full UK driving licence preferred.
