Job Description
We are looking 4 R2R Accountants to join us in our facilities in Terrassa (BCN), to provide accounting support within the GBS organization, ensuring accurate and timely execution of Record-to-Report activities. The role is responsible for maintaining accounting records, performing reconciliations, and supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Your responsibilities include:
* Maintains and reviews general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness. * Performs balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany and fixed asset accounts, with appropriate supporting documentation. * Supports timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. * Identifies and resolves accounting discrepancies, escalating complex or unresolved issues to the Senior or Team Leader. * Supports internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and information. * Follows internal controls, company policies, and applicable IFRS requirements. * Contributes to process improvements, standardization, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications
* University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an R2R, GBS, BSSC, or international corporate environment. * Basic knowledge of general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliations. * Experience with SAP systems. * Good command of English, both written and spoken. * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. * Experience with BlackLine, Redwood, or similar accounting tools is an advantage.
