POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Developer Intern to join our IT team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on real-world software projects. The ideal candidate is hungry to learn, motivated and enjoys trying new things. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
* Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. * Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following established coding standards. * Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects. * Create and maintain technical documentation. * Learn and apply modern software development tools, frameworks, and best practices. * Updating and modifying internal applications.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
* Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field. * Rising sophomore or junior preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS
* Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python and SQL * Abiltiy to manage Databases * Web development experience preferred * API knowledge preferred * Understanding object-oriented programming principles. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Willingness to learn new technologies and development practices. * Ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed. * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks. * Ability to meet deadlines. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Desire to learn and grow.
