Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:
* Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors * Monitor security systems and surveillance equipment to identify suspicious activity and potential security risks. * Document incidents, observations, and activities through detailed and accurate reporting. * Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, and potential threats. * Conduct routine patrols to maintain the safety and security of the premises. * Manage access control procedures and verify visitor credentials. * Evaluate security systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions. * Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders during critical incidents. * Protect personnel, visitors, and property by maintaining a secure environment.
Required Qualifications of Security Officers:
* At least 21 years of age or older * High school diploma or equivalent * Non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas required! * Strong customer service skills * Familiarity with report writing * Previous Retail Security experience preferred * Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks * Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
