Quality Manager
Full-time | Remote and Travel
BermudAir seeks an experienced, proactive Quality Manager to support our Quality & Compliance Department. This role promotes regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and safety across the airline. Reporting to the VP of Quality & Compliance, this management position evaluates and implements the Company Quality Assurance System and oversees independent audits, maintaining independence from line management and the work being assessed.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor compliance with Quality Assurance and Control standards, applicable regulations, and corporate objectives.
* Lead and coordinate internal and self-audits, maintain audit records, and oversee corrective and preventive actions.
* Support risk management, Safety Management System monitoring, and procedural compliance.
* Ensure contractor compliance in maintenance and ground handling.
* Support station openings, conversions, and participate in safety meetings.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent auditing experience.
* At least 10 years in a related industry, with 5 years in a leadership role.
* Certification in Quality Assurance or Compliance Auditing; experience in risk management.
* Skills in policy development, investigations, and safety, with strong organizational abilities.
* Regulatory knowledge, problem-solving skills, and process improvement focus.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
