Job Description
We are looking for a Senior AIT Technician / Shift Leader to support and coordinate production activities within a high-tech manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on position where you will combine technical expertise with team coordination responsibilities, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and according to quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Perform assembly, integration and testing activities on complex structures * Coordinate daily production activities and monitor work progress * Support and guide technicians on the shop floor * Ensure compliance with quality, safety and production standards * Assist with planning and task allocation within the team * Troubleshoot technical and production-related issues * Review documentation and ensure production traceability * Actively contribute to assembly activities while providing operational support
Qualifications
* Technical education or equivalent practical experience * Extensive experience in aerospace, aviation, defence or high-tech manufacturing * Previous experience coordinating technicians or production teams * Strong understanding of assembly and manufacturing processes * Ability to interpret technical drawings and production documentation * Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills * Strong focus on quality, safety and continuous improvement * Good command of English, both spoken and written
Additional Information
* Start: As soon as possible. * Duration: 9–12 months with a possibility of extension. * Working hours: Mostly afternoon/evening shift, 14:00–23:00, Monday to Friday.
