Key Responsibilities

* Edit long-form and short-form videos from raw footage through final delivery. * Work with producers and editors to shape story structure, pacing, context, and visual flow. * Select and edit footage, soundbites, music, graphics, captions, transitions, and sound design. * Create platform-specific versions in different formats, durations, and aspect ratios. * Follow the brand’s editorial voice, visual identity, and quality standards. * Use approved assets and maintain correct attribution. * Manage feedback and revisions while delivering accurate, polished work on schedule. * Review audience-retention data and viewer feedback to improve future edits. * Stay informed about current affairs, political developments, platform trends, competitor content, and emerging creative tools. * Communicate clearly with producers, editors, and other teams throughout the production process. * Remain flexible during major or breaking news events, including occasional evening or weekend work when required.

What You Will Need
