Job Description
The purpose of this role is to stripe all parking lots at company locations nationwide on schedule.
* Apply paint or lacquer using striping equipment to parking lots, side roads, and bollards * Stripe parking lots in accordance with ADA rules and regulations * Examine finished surfaces and verify conformance to specifications; retouch any defective areas * Clean and maintain tools and equipment * Clean surfaces of work pieces in preparation for coating, using cleaning fluids, solvents, brushes, scrapers, steam, sandpaper, or cloth * Select and mix ingredients to prepare coating substances according to specifications * Conceal blemishes, nicks, and dents in work pieces using fillers * Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level * Ensure all activities follow rules, regulations, policies, and procedures * Ensure completion of annual striping projects at all company locations within a calendar year * Responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations * Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent certificate required * Valid state driver’s license required * Must pass a pre-employment DOT background check, medical exam, and drug screen to obtain a DOT Certified medical card. * Current DOT medical card preferred. * Must pass a DOT driving test and have a clear Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). * Minimum three years’ striping or parking lot maintenance experience preferred * Intermediate Microsoft Office skills * Must conform to all DOT hours of service regulations * Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills * Ability to multitask, manage time, problem solve, and navigate change
