Responsibilities
* Provision and operate VAEC environments, OpenShift clusters and RHEL hosts. * Automate infrastructure and deployments with Terraform, Ansible and CI/CD pipelines. * Carry out cloud migrations, disaster recovery and capacity planning. * Manage cloud networking, firewall rules, IAM and monitoring. * Produce architecture, data-flow and cloud security documentation.
Qualifications
* 8+ years of experience, including 5+ years on AWS or Azure and 3+ years on OpenShift or Kubernetes (Mid / Level II). * Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD. * RHEL administration.
Desired Skills:
* VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC) or AWS GovCloud. * Cloud migration, disaster recovery and capacity planning. * Cloud networking, firewall rules and IAM.
Education:
* Bachelor's degree. * AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer, or Azure Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer. * Red Hat Certified Specialist or Architect in OpenShift; Red Hat Enterprise Linux certification.
Clearance:
* Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential.
Location:
* Remote, USA.
Pay Range:
* The suggested pay for this position ranges from $95,546 to $105,875. * The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. * Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses. * TISTA associates are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits plan!
